From the serene town of Oba in Anambra State, Nigeria, the story of a visionary began on April 12, 1975. Born into a family of educators, Dr. Obinna Tochukwu Iyiegbu, known to the world as Obi Cubana, was nurtured with values of integrity, discipline, and ambition. His father, Chief Sir Alex Iyiegbu, a principled school principal, and his mother, Mrs. Ezinne Uche Iyiegbu, a compassionate headmistress, instilled in him a foundation that would inspire a lifetime of excellence.

The Scholar’s Journey

Dr. Obi Cubana’s passion for knowledge began early. His education started at Central Primary School, Oba, and flourished at Dennis Memorial Grammar School, Onitsha. He later graduated from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, with Second Class Honours (Upper Division) in Political Science.

In 1999, his service at the National Assembly during the National Youth Service Scheme (NYSC) sharpened his leadership skills and bolstered his vision for the future.
